Recently I lost a 512 ddr400 module for a strange unknown reason, and in the process I replaced my motherboard for a better nf3 250 board, since I am running on a sempron 3100+ which is a wonderful overclocker.

So today after touching up my bios settings, I went out on a limb and thought to slow the timings and see if I could get some power out of the 2 256 ddr400'si added to make up. My DFI LANPARTYUT was quite the upgrade from my gigabyte k8ns pro, and has so many more options, so after slowing it up to 2.5,4,4,8 I noticed that on my nice business PC the 3dmark score went from 1098 to 1560 which for the 9250 in there OCed at 279:440 was quite a jump, being that stock this card and OCed sempron at 2.3 was only getting 750's, so is it the fact that there are three memory chips that slowing the memory is actually giving me more speed.

Right now my CPU is at 2295.47 and the memory is at 417.4 timed 2.5,4,4,8 I’m still working on getting my sempron back to 2.5 but I’m just thinking aloud here

All this also is running 1x 512 ultra ddr400 spectek RAM, and 2x Samsung 256 PC3200's which I picked up for like 20 bucks on eBay
