| I have tried searching the manufacturers part number and it comes up empty. Besides, I do not like buying stuff from companies that have contradictory info on their own website - the DDR 400 is advertised as 2-2-2-5 but on the product page it states 2.5-3-3-7 and 2.5-4-4-7. Get some Corsair/OCZ/G.skill/Mushkin instead of some unknown crap. | ||

| i didnt agree with it either, actually found it disrespectful, so his rep should tell all... he gave you no reason to tell him he didnt know what he is talking about, he happens to be a respected member for the exact opposite reason, he is also a respected member because he doesent resort to telling people they dont know what they are talking about... | ||

| I am not one who seeks flame wars so I will explain my position on this memory first and later I will discuss a proper response to a posting which contains an opinion other than your own. The information on the manufacturer's website is inconsistant. They have different timing information on different pages. That is unprofessional. There are very few manufacturers of high speed memory chips in the world and most manufacturers have very little choice in what chips to use anyway. The difference between memory manufacturers (and not chip manufacturers) is quality of the circuitry, their testing and warrenty. Until your original post on this thread I have not heard of this manufacturer, so I only had their website to use as a source of information and in my eyes it has failed in being a good and truthful source. And now to matter of having a proper discussion. We are all entitled to different opinions. You may be right and this is the best overclocking memory in the world. I may be wrong thinking that it sucks. The right way of correcting me would be showing me information that contradicts my knowledge/opinion. You chose a different path... If you look closely at my original post on this thread you will see that I was trying to answer your question and I was trying to be helpful. I have went to the manufacturer's website and performed searches based on the part number. I didn't know anything about the product but I was willing to give it a chance. Based on the results I have formed an opinion which you disagreed with. That's fine - we don't have to agree. The way you handled this disagreement was not fine. I have earned respect from my peers by trying to help others through knowledge, experience and a general understanding of what it means to be a part of this community. I suggest that you do the same. I care for this community and I want to strengthen it any way I can. To prove this I am going to give you positive rep, to show you that if you can educate and better this community you will be rewarded. Now the ball is in your court.
