Default 2gb kits capable of 2-2-2-5?

Does anyone know of any 2gb (1gb x 2) memory kits that can run at 2-2-2-5?

Corsair has some 2GB kits that run 400MHz at 2-3-3-6. The best kit is the XMS Pro 3500LL that runs at 2-3-2-6. The OCZ Platinum kit can run at 2-3-2-5 at 3200 speed. I don't believe I've seen any that can run a straight 2-2-25.

A guy on the evga forums said he had this memory at 2-2-2-5 but I cant believe that it was very stable

That OCZ Ram is what I got. Hopefully soon (like this week) I will have time to OC the machine and see what I can get.

Yes i got some that WILL do itat 3200 .. And will do DDR500+ @ 2.5-3-2-0! Now its a bit pricy but its well worth it for a 2x1Gb kit that will pertty much do every timming and any speed!!

Here is the link to the GSkill

2x1GB RAM is a lot harder to overclock, because it's simply more. I would only focus on tight timings @ high speeds when looking at 2x512MB setups. 2GB is better for gaming and the like...that's why i'm picking up 2GB, since i'm about done with my insane DDR640+ 1T overclocking.

I had been searching for a while for a 2gb kit that can reach 2-2-2-5 timings, but though my research couldnt come up with anything that can run stable at those timings. If you find anything keep me posted.
I settled for a 2gb kit of OCZ PC3200 GX XTC GOLD @ 3.5-3-3-8, looser timings, but i have some head room for cleaning them up when the times require!

your pair might be good for 2-2-2-5 at DDR400, but that's not guaranteed for everyone since they are rated for 2-3-2-5, but that is awesome yours run at those timings.

I personally will be buying Patriot's 2-3-2-5 DDR433 kit to go with my 4200+ since I don't need a lot of OC headroom (Shuttle ICE cooling isn't good enough for high overclocks with X2 chips IMO)

DDR550. . My RAM could do that if my processor could only push that far with my current divider...

screw the Corsair 550 kit, it can only do that at 2T timings

and I take back my statement about getting Patriot's 433 kit, I cheaped out a bit and put down for 2x1GB OCZ Plat and I've been super emo lazy about installing them because I don't feel like taking the Shuttle apart just to install a pair of DIMMs

i don't think there are 2GB ram kits that have 2-2-2-5 timings.

There aren't. I'm sure that if you ran some extra voltage, you could run 2-2-2-5, but there isn't any point. You wouldn't notice any difference. That little extra timing on the RAS to CAS delay won't be worth more than 50MB/sec bandwidth (and that's pushing it). You also won't see any difference in performance.

But that one clock cycle would make your e-penis THIS much bigger!

Because really, that's all you're doing.
