Depends on what the system supports, its AMD so it won't take DDR2 only DDR, but I don't know what clcok speed its configured for, what is the name of the ram currently in the machine? ie: mines PC2700 333.

it's an MSI notebook MS-1029 thinking about getting the MS-1039 when it comes out (i'll be checking reviews first)

they take 200-pin 3.3V SODIMM support 333/400 SDRAM

Ok so any 200pin PC2700 or PC3200 should do, make sure its So-Dimm though. I would go for the PC3200, its 400mhz so should perform better and for some reason is cheaper, I think they're phasing out PC2700. Now all you have to do is decide where to get it from, http://www.scan.co.uk is a good site, also http://www.ebuyer.com.

Reflux and I have found Crucial to be good memory. They've got soem 200pin PC3200 1GB modules going for $139.99 at the moment and the CAS is 3 so its not bad stuff.

I'll look at my RAM to see what it is, in a bit.

But I just wanted to take a chance and see if anyone knew what an HP ze2000 would support?

Thanks.
