Post For those unfamiliar with modding

Just a little guide for those who haven't really modded or for those who have and want to pick up a few things.

1) Always take your time, if you rush it people will be able to tell so take your time and it will look great.
2) Plan, even if its a few little drawing that you do within a few minutes it helps to have SOME idea of what you want it to look like.
3) If you get frustrated or annoyed take a break or else you could really make a big mistake on the mod.
4) If you don't own the tool that could do the job find ways around it (safely), jigsaws, hand saws, sanders, routers, many tools can be used different ways and for different reasons.
5) Don't worry about buying everything at once, you can buy as you build and that will cut down on loosing things and stuff like that.
6) Take breaks when your modding, just like #3 if you don't you could make a mistakes.
7) When posting about your mod or a worklog give good descriptions and remember to show your pictures. 8) Expect criticism both good and bad and thank people for both, the bad is what you will work on.
9) Do not sniff bondo, paint, glues, or any other materials.
10) When painting, working with bondo or any other materials wear masks, and eye protection (when approriate of course)
11) Remember in most cases people are around you (even if its your neighbor) don't start banging away at 7AM if you know they aren't up then. (this goes for when ever you are working outside or around people, not just modding)
12) You may have a set design that your working towards but, don't be afraid to change it a little as you go, it could be very good.
13) HAVE WATER, its good to drink, lubricate (jigsaw, drill, ect), and its good to clean dust off of things.
14) Clean up your work space after each "session" not completely but enough so that when you go back you dont have little pieces of trash laying around.

Anyone feel free to add to this. just thought it might help out some people.
