Question Re: Dual Turbine Fan Tutorial

Nice Job!!!! I've got a few of those very holesaws myself... I must admit... I never used them on anything but
steel & wood.... Using them on wood is easy.... like 'cutting cake! Steel can be a bit harder, imho.... since
there is always the chance of 'backlash.... (the holesaw "bites" into the metal & "locks"....causing the drill
to "rotate"... with the risk of a wrist injury)... I use drilling lubricant nowadays....

Never dared to use them on plastic (like the ABS most commonly used)... I was either scared of melting
the plastic or cracking it... So... how did you resolve that? Was it "streme low rpm"..... or any other means?

That is very slick, man. I love the fiberglass and the "Hot Rod Green" paint. How does putting the fans back-to-back work? Does it move much more air? I bet it gives it a wicked look when they're both running!

Most excellent, as usual.

You do some damn fine work there. I can't imagine having half of those skills. The part that amazes me the most is that you make it look so easy...

I have used them on plastic and plexi. On the plastic I have done low speed, on plexi, make sure you have a piece of wood behind it and start slow until the guide bit gets through, then you can speed up a little bit, depending upon the type of plexi. I find that wehen cutting lexan you can speed it up quite a bit without melting.

Oh, and sweet job on the tutorial Bill, you do make it look almost easy enough for me to try it...
