what type of package is it ? deb/rpm/tarball ?

most packages have a readme that explains the install process.

now i remember why i hate lindows/linspire/freespire.........CNR repositories are a pay service.

you can add the debian repo's and use apt-get instead though.

Just Install Ubuntu, kubuntu, or xubuntu.

PCLinuxOS is good. So many better alternatives to freespire/Lindows...

This is #2 thread about freespire this week WTH

I'm going to clear this up, if you want to use a windows based or lookalike linux operating system, go to kubuntuforums and read up on how to mask kubuntu as windows. It's just not.

Freespire is just a PITA and has major problems in the FSF/GPL world. A repository you have to pay for does not sound like a OS that is free right?

Distrowatch.com, it's in my signature, TuxDistro is a great way to find well seeded free legal torrents for these distros.

Please just get a ubuntu iso burnt, you will save youself from the hassle and pain of installing freespire.
