AMD 8.41.7 Display drivers Homepage | Download | Phoronix review After weeks spent on development, the first release of the next-generation AMD display driver rolled out of their headquarters. Though this release is only recommended for Radeon HD 2xxx users, and AMD explicitly warns of bugs and stability issues with older cards, missing AIGLX and workstation cards support, everyone is welcome to download and try the new driver out. As stated here, Phoronix already confirmed enormous performance improvements, with a Mobility X300 being up to 54 times faster than with the 8.40 driver. More... | |
