Hi all!

I don't know whether you're all informed, but an admin asked me to install the hwbot here. For those who don't know, the hwbot is a bot that scans and maintains forum ranking threads of populair benchmark apps, like this one. Every few hours, it scans the topic for new results, and posts an up to date ranking in the first post. The fun part is you can compete with other fora: the average of the top 10 users is the team score. Other perks are subrankings, so you don't have to have a dual 7800GTX in order to be #1, you can try to be #1 in the Ati Radeon 9xxx category too.

My benefit is that the bot gathers all the results in a global database. On hwbot.org, you can browse processors or videocards and compare them to each other in a blink of an eye. The hwbot.org site is being extended and improved on almost a daily basis, so expect improvements fast.

I don't know what to think about tihs bot. I almost think it's useless since we already have a good benchmark competition thrread going on. But hey, if an admin asked you to install it, I'm sure it will be a nice feature.
