What's up everybody?

Gotta go right into my first question. Has anyone modded a Vantec Nexus Fan Controller by changing the LEDs? I have one with blue LEDs, and I wanted to change them to orange since I'm completely rebuilding my rig in a different case. I just wanted to know if anyone could give me some tips. Is it easy to do?

Welcome to PR , i actually think there is a project where one of the members changed the leds out, i'll see if i can find the thread.

LED's are rather easy to change on the Nexus. One slight issue is the rather thick PCB, be careful not to hold the soldering iron on it too long otherwise you'll toast it. White LED's were the recruits for mine and turned out wonderful. Check out my gallery, there are some pictures there.
