| Hi everyone. Well I'm new here and this is the first time I've built a performance pc. So here it goes. ASUS A7V880 Athelon XP 3200+ 400fsb Barton Core 80mm Cooler Master fan & heatsink 1 GB Corsair Value Select PC3200 Dual Channel 2X512 W/ Ultra Blue heat spreaders CL 3,3,3,5 Powercolor Radeon 9800SE 256mb 8XAGP 120GB Western Digital 7200rpm Caviar HDD DVD-ROM, Dual Layer 16XDVD+-RW, 3/80mm Blue case fans Drive bay 2/60mm circulation fan pci 2/60mm blue exhaust fan 2/12" blue cold cathode tubes, Ultra X Conect 500psu Green no light and last but not least LCD Temperature Display (shows temp for cpu, hdd, vga, shows activity for fan, hdd, and psu, shows current time and time running) All this for 750$ I did a lot of looking around before I decided to build a new system ( Dell, HP, Sony, Alienware, VooDoo, Gateway, IBuyPower, and several others) Dell wanted 1400 + Tax + Shipping for a system running 1gb single channel pc2700 nvidia 6600 128mb and xp3000. Alienware delivered supirior quality but for 2600+ Tax + Shipping I could make 3 of the system I built and have money left over for a trip to E-3 and all but VooDoo and some of the newbie companies systems vs price were a total joke!!! So in closing I say forget Dell and all the rest, build it yourself and put it to the test ( although Alienware are sweet if I had money to waste thats where I'd put it) also I have never overclocked this system or any other thats what the system detected as. If anyone thinks I should go Ba$%s out and push my system let me know I'm new to modding. Also if anyone thinks my system is not good enough bear in mind I SAID, "I'M NEW AND THIS IS MY FIRST PERFORMANCE SYSTEM" so don't treat me like a douche for not having big bucks to spend on the newest stuff 'cause I checked, the newest gpu's are like 500 by themself and the FX-55 is like 900 based on this someone could easily spend more on the uber-machine than on a decent car!!! To me that's totaly insane!! | ||

| Thats pretty good for a budget rig, have you done any baseline benchmark testing yet? The motherboard and ram are fairly average for overclocking, but we can help you get the most out of it. If you have the right 9800SE you can soft mod it into a 9800PRO with the right drivers, and then that baby will scream! | ||
