Unhappy How can I utilize Princeton LCD DVI-D output

I bought the 19' Princeton LCD that has a DVI-D output. The DVI-D link has 3 rows of 6 pins and no contacts above or below the flat blade. My Gateway computer doesn't have DVI digital output. It only got VGA for analog. I have been looking for ways to either install a PCI card that will allow me to hook up my DVI cable to the LCD, either that or an adapter. I bought an adapter and it didn't match b/c the adapter has 2 contacts above and below the flat blade...duh. I'm not sure an adapter is the best way anyway. There are different types of DVI-D out there so i'm looking for the exact match to mine. Will anyone please advise as to what I can do to utilize the digital output of my new LCD. I thank you very much....

But I don't want to use VGA, that's analog. I want to utilize the digital input, i want to use the DVI cable.
It's just I have no DVI-D output from my Gateway computer to connect to the cable.

an adaptor connected to a dvi conenction will make it analog anyways, if u wnat digital the only thing u can do is buy a video card with a dvi plug on it.

Drew is right. There is no need to use an adapter, you might as well just hook it up using a VGA cable.

Your Video card is putting out analog signals, get a new video card if you want DVI so bad.

Question

yah i figured, i've been trying to find the card and even Gateway themselves don't have any. Could you please advise where i could find the best price card that will do the job? my biggest concern is to find the right card that has this exact DVI-D spec: rows of 6 pins and no contacts above or below the flat blade.

I've looked at ebay but couldn't find the card with this spec. they mostly or all have 6 pins with 2 contacts above and below the blade.
