Awww yeah! I loves me some tech-step too (and I am from Milton originally, a mere 30 miles or so from where you are) but I typically spin techno, acid techno, psy-trance, and some electro now and then.
Welcome to PR, by the way.

Lightbulb dexter v002

Hello everyone. As Dexter and I continue my neverending journey through the internet, I have come across some watercooling products that will surely revamp my dusty system, replace the 6 fans I got now, add a dual-channel cl2 DDR-RAM setup, and maximize the overclocking environment needed for the new generation of accelerated gamplay/graphics. I plan to invest around $950USD for this system because I would like to see some higher scores on my system appearance, and of course ,at least, a 200% boost in booting/loading/swap/gaming performance. The prephrils in the front bezel will be replaced with a 2 space aquabay and a 2 space radiator. The prephrils and harddrives will be relocated outside of the case in external USB 2.0 enclosures. The system will run on a new 80gb SATA 150 mbps and the current 80gb IDE hard drive will become the secondary storage device. I also intend to add an acrylic I/O panel on the front bezel below the radiator. no additional prephrils will be installed. About $600USD will be for the water cooling system, $50USD for the additional CL2 DDR-RAM, and $300USD for the external devices.

ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
AMD Athlon XP 3200+ 400mhz FSB
PC3200 DDR400 CL2 RAM
ATI All-in-Wonder 9800pro

Welcome to PCApex. If you don't already know about this little thing called Folding@Home here is some info about it.

OUR GOAL
Understanding how proteins self-assemble ("protein folding") is a holy grail of modern molecular biophysics. What makes it such a great challenge is its complexity, which renders simulations of folding extremely computationally demanding, and difficult to understand. The Stanford group has developed a new way to simulate protein folding. However, this method is extremely computationally demanding and they need our help.
For more info about it stop by F@H's home page here.

With that in mind you should read up on our team Team PCApex linkage. It is a great way to help humanity and PCApec alike.

If you are the competitive type you might want to join up in one of PCApex's sub teams for more info on them check these links.

Cool Awsome!

thank you everyone for the greetz. I'm now upto $1050USD on a new clearpc case and utilizing all 11 5.25" bays. Its gunna be major over kill in 32-bit preformance not to mention userfriendly fuctionality, and scalability. I've invested so much time on this revamp project infact I've been told I need a better hobby. I've got a sunbeam acrylic UV blue case which I will ship if anyone can pay for the shipping. I imagine I can provide a s/h estimate ($5USD for gas money to my local packing store) to send this thing fedex standard within the USA. But other than the s/h cost its a freebe. its a standard ATX case. Everything should be coming together whithin 30 days from now or less. I will keep posting here and check out some other forums. Techs at computer shop say I shouldn't spend so much money on this computer and build a new one but i like the pimpin' points I have now hoping to get more.
