Hi all. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but as you've never had a members welcome section, here goes.

First of all I owe you all a big apology. I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while but all sort of crap has happened. When I was doing my other project(Black Ice) I was staying at my Nan and Gramps They had a nice big house with a big garden and summer house so it was perfect for me to set up my tools and get on with the modding. Well, about the time I stopped visiting this site my mother broke her foot, and as you might know I was taking time out from work so I decided to help her out by staying there to cook and play housemaid. Not only was she without the Internet but my phone was costing too much to keep going on line as well.

I was kept busy with designing and making a fitted wardrobe for her bedroom along with decorating her flat(carpets and all). Well then I just had to meet a girl that I knew from a while back and well, I think you can guess the rest. With my emotions in turmoil because my Nan had just died, my Mother decides that she's not good enough for me and begins the getting between us ****. By this time my Mother was back on her feet and I had started work again, but not a very good job I can tell you.

As you can imagine I was pretty peeved so I upped and went back home but found that my uncle that had lost his job because he couldn't be bothered to fight against a nasty boss didn't want me back there so the atmosphere was bad and I kept to myself a lot of the time. This meant that no modding was getting done and to top it all my Gramps died who I have to say was more of a father to me than my real Dad. Of coarse my Uncle got control of the estate and I had to move out. I think he was just ashamed that not only does he think himself better than me or my Mother but he also didn't have the strength to fight the persecution at work so it's now on his record(whatever it was) and no one will employ him for it, or for that matter, his age.

I'm now living in the attic of my Aunt and her husband with very little in the way of tools or space to mod but I need another PC for a networking coarse I'm trying to do. So with some of the bits I had for my other project(which will have to stay on hold until I get some more room, my tools and my other bits) and some new parts, I thought I could do a mini mod. At least I should finish this one eh?

As an avid reader of Custom PC here in England and the fact they have merged with bit-tech.net, I have put my modding log up there and think it only right to try and finish a project on this site as I know a few people were subscribed to my other project and probably feel I've let them and the site down. I like to give more than take so I hope I can get a few new modders hooked with this worklog of a simple mod called Project:Air con.

That's enough of my life story so check out my worklog if you want but kick me up the ass her if you don't mind as it keeps the log clean and tidy.

First, since I'm one of the dozen or so people still here and the designated nazi about these things as of late, you'll find "Intro & Greetz" in the Miscellaneous section waaaaaaaaaaaaay at the bottom I can't promise there's a mod around who cares enough to move it though.

Second, welcome back to PCA It's been kinda dusty around here lately, the notorious Gary (aka Pimp of Pimps Glitterkill) seems to have his hands full with real-world business, and the site has been kinda semi-functional. Seems we're having a revival of sorts lately though! It'll be nice to see someone making progress. ****, if not finishing a project is letting people down, I've scrapped 3-4 projects due to various combinations of lack of funds/bad idea/real world drama. Nobody'll hold it against ya.

Thanks mate. Ya I noticed the site was a bit slow and lacking in adverts, but hay, that's not a bad thing.
I also noticed the Intro and Greetz down the bottom after posting but as you said, no mods to move it. Funny, I don't remember that there last time I was on.

Anyway thanks for the nod and I'll try to keep active from now on as I would hate this site to die. V_V
