How is everyone. I am a complete noob to the modding world. I have been a member of another mod forum for a few months now. My recent research of the Hiper Anubis case, witch I bought, led me here. Hey DEX great job by the way.
I am very excited about becoming a full fledged modder and contributing member of PCApex. My modding expeirience consists of cutting a few fan holes with a dremel, yes I know now that there are eisier ways, and working on wire management. The rig I am on now is one I built about 1 1/2 years ago. It was my first build. In fact I have only been using puters for about 3 years,yes late bloomer at 45 yrs old. But I discovered I have a knack with them. My neighbor at the time gave me his old HP PAV that I used for about 3 months then I bought a Cisnet rig from ZTgroup. I then tore down the HP, looking it over and Googling alot, I realized 'hey I can do this". So I built the one Im on. I will be posting some pics of it this evening.
I bought the Anubis for my next build. It is going to be a tribute to Jimi Hendrix. I am in the planning stage and researching some hardware. My budget for the build is a little over 3K. So I am hoping to do it right. I have a few Ideas for some fairly outlandish stuff with watercooling. I am also going to incorporate a tube amp and some vintage Marshal amp hardware into the build.
Anyways I hope I didnt bore you all as I tend to get long winded. SEE YA

Interesting name, nice to see even old people are die hard fight club fans. JK, anyways, welcome tye, must be nice to have quite a healthy budget. My budget is sorta like that, only it comes in waves, when i get paid. Sounds like a pretty knarly build you've got planned, can't wait to see the build begin. Anyways, welcome and whatnot, and you should get a please fold and welcome post here in a little while.

Rule 1, You do not talk about PCAPEX.
Rule 2. YOU DO NOT TALK ABOUT PCAPEX.
Rule 3. If someone says "Stop" or goes limp, taps out, the mod is over.
Rule 4. Only one mod at a time.
Rule 5. Only one dremel at a time.
Rule 6. No shirts, no shoes, Dremel at will.
Rule 7. Mods will go on as long as they have to.
Rule 8. If this is your first time at PCAPEX, YOU HAVE TO MOD.
