Hi all,
Just joined today to get some help with the animated signatures. I'm a member of a couple of other sites. I've been into computers since June of 2006. My first rig was a Dell, need I say more? I just built my dream machine this past May. Some here may say it's obsolete but it wasn't when I was reading up on it. Took awhile to scrape together the cash. It's a full tower case/ E6600/ Asus P5WDH DeLuxe wifi/ Corsair PC6400C4 4-4-4-12 2X1GB/ Foxconn 8800GTS 64MB oc version/ thermaltake 750W/ Seagate 300GB SATA/ Logitech 5500 speakers. I know some here have similar rigs or better and I'm not bragging. This is my first build and it will have to last me another six to ten years. It's for gaming mostly.
My user name reflects where I live, upstate N.Y. When it's dark up here it's dark. There are no street lights like in the city. When a wild animal bolts through the brush it definitely gets your attention. See you all in the forums.

I am familiar with what folding is all about. I have dial-up so I think that's out. I will check out the links you provided and get acquainted with the site.

Don't worry about the dial-up. Just get set up and you will fold just as fast as your PC can fold. When your WU is finished, just dial up wait a few minutes so it can send the finished work unit back to Stanford and recieve the new one and your computer will fold the new work unit without an online connection until it's done. Then just dial up again and repeat the process.

Yeah photoshop is alot of money. I looked into that along with Dreamweaver but it's a bit beyond what's in my wallet at the moment. I put what I can aside for it so maybe in the future. I can see by your avatar you're not lacking in skill. Pretty cool. What's the F@H ?. Folding at home?. I sort of looked into that too but I'm still undecided. It's a good cause humanity/research and all. I looked at some of the tutorials that go along with photoshop,quite a bit of information there. I still haven't figured out how to print a PDF format yet so I'd have to sit down and write the sections I need to use. I did find something called IMTOOL so right now I'm trying to figure out how to burn it to my hard drive in a compressed form. See you later.

A long time ago I was at my sons house in Wisconsin watching his computer doing some
pretty weird things. He told me about F@H. He didn't have to tell me twice, I knew in my heart is was the right thing to do.
For some reason he was in Las Vegas about a mouth later. I came home from work and he had installed F@H. He also told me about a site called PimpRig A.K.A. PCApex. He told me how all the people at PR folded and asked me if I would like to join. I was so proud of my boy and all his friends that I had to meet them. I was welcomed with open arms and soon made my own friends.
At first I tried to do the recruiter job but like I said, I'm not tech. minded. I could not answer all questions that had to be answered. So I asked T2 to help because he is one smart Pimp. Soon I just kicked back and watched T2. {T2 is my hero.}
