| I have an old Wireless B 10/100 router, and I need a couple more network jacks in my room. I was wondering if there is a way to use my router as a simple hub. At the last LAN party we had at this house, I attempted to use this old thing to give us a couple extra ports, but none of us could get a connection from it. Would I be better off just spending a couple bucks and getting a nice little hub, or is there a way I can make this work. It's really old, so I'm a bit worried that routing my connection through this thing will slow down my speeds. I guess if I get it working, a simple internet speed test would suffice. Thanks in advance for the help. | ||

| I think you'd rather use a switch a hub shares the connections, so, well, have you seen the nics with collision lights? the collision lights are for hubs, because all the nics would be using a single connection at once with a switch, each computer has a connection, and it's switched, so, the computers don't share bandwidth but, hubs aren't very expensive, at all what kind of router are you using? | ||
