Holy Crap! Comcast has been doing some tweak or something lately... I am downloading stuff at like 3.5MB per second... yes, that is megabytes per sec!

You have to keep in mind the difference of bits and bytes. Your ISP might tell you your gonna get 3000 kbitsps, but your browser might say 600 kBYTESps. Big difference.

just upgraded to the premium package which is 10mbps

Where are you guys getting the screenshots from? I'm getting 28,000kbps on most of those, only occaisionally getting 6,000kbps (my real dl)

But considering this is peek hours....
I have SBCGlobal Elite service 6mb up/768kb down

wow... looks like i get to call and bitch... paying for a 12mbit line down and i get this bs...

i guess i cant complain considering im in the middle of a desert using satellite internet!
