| Hey Pimps, I am in need of a little help here. I moved my PC around, and my gaming PC are no longer hard wired. My wifi has been acting a bit flakely, since I increased the number of Wireless devices. So I believe its time to upgrade my Wifi Router. So here is the question - What is the best Wifi Router to be used by 2 Gaming PC at the same time? I need the router to handle 5 wireless PC without a problem. Of course signal strenght is important, and all my devices are G. I was looking at the Netgear Rangemax Wireless Router WPN824 I have setup two network with this router and its great for signal strenght, but not sure how it translate for gaming. Any input would greatly be appreciated. Regards, SAD | ||

Not sure exactly how much you are wanting to pay for a router , but i am using a D-Link 108Mbps 802.11G Gaming Router with Gigabit LAN Ports and it works awesome for me, i have this router in my room upstairs and my friend i live with has his a wireless adapter on his computer downstairs and we both play COD2,BF2 and Spearhead, ETC on it and it works perfit for the both of us there is no lag or bandwidth loss what so ever. Here is the one i have http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...ode=08-6621665 Ps i forgot to mention all the computers are wireless there is 6 of them and all the are pc gamers.

| hey Ranger, I was looking at that DLink router, but wasn't sure if it was worth the extra money. I have some deadspots in my house, and hte newer routers that have mulitple antenna's seem a better route for signal strenghts, but not sure how it translate for gaming. SAD | ||

Well like i said in my prevous post i game a lot mostly COD2 and also does the person i live with, my computer is upstairs and his is downstairs and he has no issue what so ever on losing any banwidth or lagging and on the other note my cable provider is RoadRunner. NoSlak you are so correct ever since i change from my old router which was another plain D-Link wireless router this one just plain kicks butt.
