Default wireless bridge?

so heres the problem, i have a wireless network setup for my laptop. I can get the signal all the way out at my pool, garage (far from the house) and just about anywhere on my property, its great! But if i go into my parents room (where my dad uses it a lot) we get NO connection. Its like a dead zone. So i figured a wireless bridge would work perfectly, just mount it in a closet thats about half way between the wireless router we have now, and the problem room.

But heres where i'm un sure of what to do. I was looking through and it seems like there are three things that do what i want; a repeater, a bridge, and an access point. Maybe im reading wrong but what i found said that a bridge connects networks, while an access point connects computers (or other wireless devices), and that a repeater just boosts the signal.

Could anyone help me out with what would be best? I'm not looking to spend over 80$

Also they all seemed to have a RJ45 jack on the back of them, do they connect wired to the existing router? or is that so you can connect another device to it ?

Thank you in advance

why not just buy a signal repeater for around 30-40 $ ???
thats the simplest approach to solving your dead-zone issue .... remember "K.I.S.S." ....

That is totally up to you myself i would go with the Extender, but then again that would cost a little more money vs the antenna.
