prompt for password when trying to view workgroup computer?

I have a small network setup in the same room, two computers networked by a 4 port wireless D-link router. Both computers see each other on the network and same workgroup, but when trying to access the computer i get prompet for a password. On one i just formatted it and cant get the password, any idea as what it could be?

Its probably whatever the admin password on that machine is, just guessing here, i've never had that problem.

is the guest acct enabled. if you look at the local policies do any of the guest accts have passwords. if they do. try going into safe mode as the admin. and just removing the pass.

can the other computer browse and see your contents.
