Surfing Anonymously?

I was wondering how a I can surf the web anonymously without my IP showing and non traceable?
I have heard of proxy servers but those are down 50% of the time.

I use my Linksys router...does a pretty good job. However, as far as being untraceable...I don't think that's possible. Anything electronic leaves a trail...it just depends on how much investigating a person would do to find out.

I use a program called Ghost Surf Pro... seems to do the trick.

for instences where you cant instal a prog, use this, its running on my comp, i use it for school.
