Any Think Pr Has Been Running Slow????

Just wanted to see whats been up with Pr. Its been acting funny now for a few days. wanted to know if anyone else has noticted this.

I've noticed it's not running slow but apparently it appears from what GK has said is that it was the subject of a DOS attack.

About an hour ago it was running really slow and pages would not load, i assumed GK was updating. Seems fine now tho.

If I remember correctly, he does backups early Monday morning/late Sunday night. Updates don't usually slow the site down. It could have been a DOS that was averted. We seem to get a lot of people on here to act an ass, get pissed off when they get slammed, then are indignant when they are banned. I look forward to the day when an admin can reach out over the internet and physically bitch slap those kind of folks.

Yeah, but what I want to know is who would get pissed enough to attack PR, an apparant DoS attack at that...

I noticed last night half the time pages wouldent load.

dDOS can be a very useful tool for online protesting but just for a grudge its pointless. I will admit i have designed a few java apps for that very purpose but usualy towards a cause. I have also participated in quite a few. One of the simplest and most efeective ways to get heard on the net when some1 pisses you off. But just because you where ban isnt one.

If someone pisses me off I just dont go to there house/business anymore - I dont try to burn it down.........
