Default thank you comcast!

I came home to my cable internet being down, so I unplugged/plugged back in my modem and router, and realized that my insight broadband connection made the switch over to comcast, raising my upload from 128 to 256k. AWESOME.

It's great that you have good speeds but comcast for me is just . At peak times in my area it is so bad. I called them and asked why it was so laggy and they said they were "fixing" the problem and should be done by end of the weak. Its been about a month and still have same problems.

Sigh. I only get 800kbps up / 5mbps down. No slow down at peak times (Other than at the server side, not mine) and only for $45CDN / month. Gotta love Rogers hi-Speed Extreme.

lol i get 1760/240 directly connected to the router, but on this godforsaken Powerline networked computer it's more like 800/240 lol.

Also, comcast has been intermittently going in and out a few times a day lol. They say that there is nothing wrong at their end and that they can send a tech out to my house. If there's a problem at my side, we get charged 50 dollars. *sigh*

Tell me about that crap... got quoted for 1.5 down and 256 up at $40 a month. I now pay $55 a month for 768 down and 128 up and it the only thing besides dial-up. When I went to the office they told me none of there services have 256 up, I then showed them the email with there quote and they said I made it up. Then she cleaned up all her little magazines and adds on the counter after she treated me like crap.

charter has always been a biach to me. cept this one time where i slipped the tech a $20 cuz i slipped in a changed bios for the modem and hadnt taken it out when he got there (3 mb down/3mb up). Hey i only wanted to host a UT 2004 game for a couple hours....
heh, always love the corrupt employees, he said he will only take this because they pay him close to minimum wage and he hates his job.

lol on another note, i got ugraded for free from 1.5/128 to 3mb/256 because i called in an took their new speeds. they werent going to tell me about them of course...... same price = twice the speed.
