Default Bandwidth management

I have a friend, she and her husband both have 360s and there are 2 computers in there house. They are having the problem of only being able to run 1 360 at a time kicking the other one off. They currently have a Linksys Router BEFSR41 and from my knowledge it doesn't support bandwidth management.
What is the best solution for this?

I have check on some of the forms about software bandwidth allocation and it doesn't seem to pose a possible solution for them is there a cheap router that can solve this problem.

Thanks,
Spatha

::EDIT::
I think the real problem isn't the bandwidth hogging its the fact that 2 xboxs can't share the same IP address with xbox live I keep finding people mentioning the only way to get 2 to work is to run something called Xlink Wgn Mode???

HELP!

Well, the problem you're stating sounds *exactly* like an IP conflict, which is what I was going to tell you ... until you posted that edit.

So, solutions ... first of all, xbox live ... getting the IP addy from the external IP that your router provides to your ISP, I guess? That's challenging ...

Based on your Xlink comment above, check the following:
Xbc And 2 Xbox's On 1 Internet Connection - Scenyx Entertainment Community

and ...

XLink Kai: Evolution VII. Global Network Gaming.

I don't know nothing about the IP conflict, but if they want to do bandwidth management, or Quality of Service, they will need a router that supports it, like the D-Link Gamers Lounge routers, or just about any of the mid-range newer routers.

Thanks godling that 2nd link will be really helpful, as far as the bandwidth management I've been told that it will add at least 100 ping making first person shooter unplayable and thoughts on this. DickNervous I'll definitively look into one of the D-Link routers.

That ping will be based on distance to the servers in question, also. 260k up should be fine for joining servers. Pings in the low 100's aren't terrible, though obviously you want to be under that. I remember when LPBs (low-ping bastards) were the exception, and everyone was on dial-up with pings in the 200's plus. Now it's the HPBs that bring the game down.

Newegg.com - LINKSYS WRT54G IEEE 802.3/3u, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless-G Broadband Router - Retail

with DD-WRT and you'll be able to do whatever you like. On par with much more expensive gear for ~$45.

::UP Date:: I talked to them again about the issue, mentioned the bandwidth management mentioned the D-Link stuff. I also dug into the XLink stuff but after hours and hours of digging I didn't find anything that sounded feasible. I eventual told him to call Xbox and ask them what they would suggest; it just didn't sound right that you couldn't have 2 xboxs on the same IP as that would be a major over cite on Microsoft's part.
Low and behold there was another issue with the xboxs. Accentually the xboxs had to have both their accounts whipped and reacquired. and after about 2 hours on the phone they got everything fixed. When they did the initial match with both their xboxs and as many friends as they could get, me being one of them, the xbox rep said they noticed that one of their two xboxs was having trouble communicated with mine. They apparently patched that, so problem solved.
If you have any issue with your xboxs working on the same connection give the xbox people a call.

I don't know the exact process used to fix the problem because I wasn't there but it wasn't a bandwidth issue or an IP one. I figured I'd post a follow up to my inquiry so if anybody has a similar problem maybe this will help.

Thanks for every bodies responses and help.
