Domain masking.

So I'm trying to mask my domain name. I have my domain name so that it goes to my site, as in a .com domain name. When it gets to the site though, the address box displays my wanIP.

How do I mask my IP?

Important stuff:

Apache
PHP5
MySQL
phpbb2

godaddy, hosted at my house.

I have a friend very far away who frequently tests the site when I ask him, and yes, it gives him the IP as well.

It works now.

I guess it took godaddy awhile to process the request.

Good to hear that it's working now. Not surprised that it took them to get that pushed through properly. Sometimes the simplest thing takes a while before it gets distributed through their servers.

Is it possible for the domain masking to like, go a little too far?

No matter where I go on my site, the address remains the same. This could be a problem with phpbb, I'm not sure.

It's not php. I reinstalled all the server software. Without loading one of my database backups, it still had the issue. I'm thinking it has to do with godaddy.

Getting kinda lonely in here *crickets*

Anyways.

The issue is with godaddy. When I don't mask, I get an IP, when I mask, I get the masked URL.

Unfortunatly, when I mask, I go back to the same problem. URL doesnt change.
