anyone using TOR ?

I've started messing with TOR and Privoxy and have found for some reason
some chat sites load your real IP addy from a Java file and and not getting
changed through TOR and Privoxy

I have checked off the socks v4 or socks v5 as per the install info but im still putting
out my real IP

Im finding the same result in either firefox or IE

Eh, I tried it for about a day, and got rid of it. Never got it to work for me... screwed my computer up big time too. And I read on the website that Tor doesn't guaranteed complete anonymity.

Meh, i've never been a huge fan of Tor. You're much better off using proxychains or whatnot. It's been rumoured that some of the Tor exit nodes (Where the traffic is unencrypted) are monitored by government, it's also slow ass unless you have some private nodes to go through.

Here's a few things that might interest you.

FoxyProxy
AccessDiver - It thinks like an hacker to find failures on your sites (Purely for the proxy features, i don't condone bruteforcing (unless it's an LM hash :p))

Should keep you busy for a while. There are plenty of other ways to help you stay anonymous but imo, true anonimity is impossible nowadays.
