Ok so i really love Firefox but its been pissing me off latly espeshaly on this site.
Reason one.
When I'm typing in PCApex posts or whatever and i hit / or ' it opens some stupid seach bar a the bottom and I have to reclick the text portion that im thying to type and I just can't us ' or / whats the deal is this only me or is their anybody out their who has had this problem and fixed it. It dosn't like the back space or arrows by the way.

Secondly whats the deal with the Ctrl key. I cant use Ctrl + P to past and the right click past dosn't work either, wierd thing is its if I Ctrl copy from firefox and try to Ctrl + P in firefox it won't work but if i try to pase in anything else it dose work, ya i don't get it. I am using a computer with seperate accounds which I don't think could be a problem but you never know.

So ya... Help.

Well, I can help with the / key, as it always gets hit when I work on my laptop. The quickest way out, IMHO, is to hit the Escape key.

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.

Maybe you got some FF addons that interfere with copy paste?
I don't have that problem with latest Firefox, so it sounds like some other program or plugin/addon screws it up for you..

I am with BeetleMan mine works perfit with no issues on my pc's i am using, i would uninstall the FireFox that you are using and all it's add ons and try reinstalling it, but make sure that you take out everything that is pertaining to FireFox so that way your pc see it as a fresh copy of FireFox in it, also make sure you get the latest version of FireFox as of which right now is 2.0.0.4 here.

Had a similar problem, don't remember what i did. Am thinking it was spyware, but I won't bet money on it. Also, try reinstalling FF.

If I had ever run into that behavior before I would have fixed it ASAP since I use copy and paste quite a bit.

Ya i ment to say Ctrl+V thats what ive been using.
The only addons im using is FishEyeTabs 0.14.3 and Download Statusbar 0.9.5. Ive tried with them disabled but no change. I'll have to try reinstalling Firefox.

Ya I essentualy stoped using Firefox. I'm just using internet explorer.

You can always try out Opera. That is what i use on my home machine. At work i have to use Firefox due to the company not upgrading to IE7. BTW can someone post those FF hacks/tweaks again i cant seem to find them.

I don't have any problems like that so you may have some addon installed that causes the problems or maybe some even worse problem. Reinstall everything and see if ti goes away.
