| Iv been using the IIS feature for a while now but havent needed it for a bit. Yesterday i enabled again so whenI go towork i could save some files to my work mac. I get to work and enter my ip address ***.***.***.***:80/misc yet it will not connect. It had no problem connecting to it from y laptop at home using my pc's static ip address. Last week I bought a new Dlink N Router. Do I need to configure settings on it for it to connect from another ip? I dont remember if I did on my old linksys one. thanks Dadio202 | ||

| You might need to set up the router to forward port 80 to your computer's IP address on the network. Just type in the IP of your router in Firefox or IE and you should be able to access some sort of config and set up port forwarding. | ||
