cant OC with my intel board

is there a other way i can OC with my intel board everything is greyed out in my BIOS...eRR i want to make my 1.6 a 1.8 can anyone help me i have the lateest drivers

Intel Board key here - do you really think Intel would like you getting more performance for free? They'd rather you buy a new processor of course!

So no, you can't overclock with your intel board. Sorry.

Intel motherboards cannot overclock. Hacked BIOS's can enable it though, or at least they used to.

This of course does not mean any motherboard with an intel chipset is not overclockable, only the intel motherboards do not support overclocking.

On a side note, what is the sSpec# of your 1.6? And is it a northwood or williamette core?

Intel boards ARE highly stable, and I've only had to RMA 1 out of about 500, so don't feel ALL bad...it'll server you a long time...
