Northwoods Overclock As Well :)

Heres my 1.8a Northwood Overclock on air cooling, the original swiftec 462 and a 7V Vantec Tornado.
Using Abits IT7-Max 2 version 1 board and 512mb twinmos 3200.

Nice O/C there berger, one of the highest I've ever seen on a 1.8A. Of course northwoods overclock well, the only P4's that dont O/C well are the old williamette core chips, everyone knows that.

Running my Northie 2.4C @ 3.4GHz

with that board u should get a 2.4c and hit 3.4 wit it just like tek

Did you up the voltages? If you did wouldnt that lead to SNDS?

Yeah i went up to 1.7V which is about 1.66V actual, its run for 6 months like that now and doesnt seem to have any problems.

Well, he would be up to about 16 months now.

Of course we wouldn't know if the chip is still running ......... he hasn't posted in about 9 months.

Im usually posting on UK boards, but it ran fine up to January when i sold that machine and moved onto a Barton.

I was more trying to point out the dredging up of long dead threads, than actually lamenting the lack of follow up.
