Question how hot is too hot for a P4?

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for the information that I have been able to learn while lurking, but I have a question I have not yet seen. How high a temperature is damaging to a P4 2.0ghz? I saw mine spike to 131F while playing Raven Shield using the stock heatsink. That has now been replaced Thermaltake P4 Spark 7 with the automatic temp fan speed control. But I have seen it still go to 120F. At what point do I need to be concerned about overheating 140, 150, or have I hit it? Thank you
Robert

My first suggestion is to check the Intel web site for the specs for your processor. It sounds like you should be okay though, not spectacular, but okay.

I just looked it up.
According to the Intel spec sheet the max die temp for your processor is 74C. I don't quite know what that comes to in F, but that should help you some.

With the 74C temp that is 165.2F
C*1.8+32=F

your max temp is also dependant on your core, do you have a willy or a northy cored P4?
also what about your case temps, you can't have a cool proc if you case is burnin' up.
