p4 3.46 ee vcore 3dmark 13500

I have the 3.46 ee p4 with 6800 ultra PCIE. I have a vcore of 1.57 on the cpu. What has others used on the CPU/PCIe slot and memory. The PCIE is at 1.5 and the ram is 2.15 using ocz26672048ebdcpe-k rt MOBO is Asus P5WD2 Priemium. I am running at 3.6 now with 277 cpu clock/*13 FSB is at 1108 memory . My 3dmark03 is 13444 non registered version. 431/1131 on the BFG 6900 ultra oc. I had to back down on the video card when playing hl2. Started getting artifacts. looking for more.

Running raid 0 raptors.

2.15 volts on the mem? bfg 6900 ultra?? huh??

a score of 13500 is nothign to be bragging about. with my rig below, i score 14k+, and it is still low compared to others here. If you want to compare your system setup to others, you can find the links below for the various bench program.

i would expect with yoursetup.. you shoud be running pretty close to mine, maybe a little bit better. so many you need to tweak some settings. but then again, i dont know **** for memory timings, and i know i could tweak my settings more. every time i tweak my settings, i gain about 100 pts on my 3dmark05 score. my last run scored 6k+.

Sorry for the punctual error. I am looking for help on getting more out of my system. The video card is 6800 ultra not 6900. The questions are. What can the PCIE voltage be? It is at 1.5. Are the numbers from 3dMarK03 different with the registered version verses none registered? Has anyone used a higher Vcore on the P4 3.46 ee than 1.57? And what has been the success? Yes, I do intend on overclocking my unit. My questions are what is best for this arrangement.

It really al depends on your CPU cooling. With my Vapochill I'm not scared to max it out. My workstation has a Thermalright XP120 and I'e got 1.8v on it (P4-2.4C @ 3.2). But the temp doesn't go over 114d F. If you've got a stock heatsink then I wouldn't push it to far. If you have a high performance setup I would just keep my eye on it, if it's running stable and within spec's go for it. Of course if you don't have the money to replace damaged parts then leave it alone.

As for all you Intel haters. Why is my old 3.0C @3.8Ghz (non Vapochilled setup) still running with the highest score for a single video card setup on the 3DMark 2005 thread. I think I'm number 4 or 5. If Intel sucks so bad then why hasn't an AMD surpassed me until SLI. My next CPU will be a Dual core AMD but most of you AMD fans are still lagging behind my old $200 Intel.

Come wintertime il beat you guys. This 2400+ goes up to 3GHz with -60c air. Windchill of -80 on the heatsink. Thats what im talking about

living up here in Minnesota, we get those nice cold winters. My temps normally drop down into the 25 to 30C range during those times, where as right now my tempts range from 38C to 45C.

so will be interesting to see wghat this new rig will do during that time

With an AMD 4000 in an SLI setup I would think you should be able to beat me now. I guess Intel is a little tougher than we thought.
