highest oc

i have a p4p800-vm and i want to know what is the highest oc for a 2.66 p4. I have a really nice heat sink. I dont know if my motherboard can handle anything higher than what it says. My mb says it can handle up to 3.2ghz

well, since nobody else has posted to this thread... i will. for the first, the highest oc is whatever you make it, you didn't say what kind of heatsink you have.. not if it really matters really, but hey. just make sure you have the right cooling and ram.... and so on. not too many people are intel fans, but i like them for a few things, just if you wanna game go for amd64 or dual core... thats too new for me right now... i'll quit rambling now.

3000MHZ on my 2400+(sock 2000MHz), outside on my deck.

-50c air, ThermalRight SP-97 and a 80mm tornado.

2300/2400 normal air(no tornado)

Soo...your OC'ing will be limited to what your using, so go ahead and tell us.

What kind of other hardware do you have? Generic power supplys and memory will quickly hold you back.

Is that an Asus motherboard? Not all motherboards can overclock well, they need to have the options to increase voltage to the cpu and memory, and change memory timings and ratios...without that, you will not get the most from your CPU.
