Prescot hack ?

Does anyone know what this prescot hack thing ive been hearing about with SuperPI anyone guide me with this thing? I guess its suppose to knock a few secs off ? Right now im running a 34 sec super pi if i could knock some off it would be sweeet! Thanks

Considering your running an AMD processor...its seems odd your wanting a Prescott hack (aka Intel). Never thel ess, arent hacks generally frowned upon?

wanna super pi faster?
get a faster processor.

No im running a intel 3.2 @ 3.9 243FSB

And i thought the hack was to let the prescot run the full amont of the cpu? Not cheat!

SuperPi is designed to run on a CPU as it was originally programmed...regardless of extra recourses a CPU might have. New revisions of SuperPi might come out which suport the Prescott, but until then a hack is a hack.

If you really want to break it in, I suggest Prime95.

Now wait a minute. Werent you a die hard AMD fan. Spouting off stuff like "intel is inferior. blah blah blah. i remember a "debate" we had back in the AMD vs Intel thread.

Now why are you running a Intel now.....

OOOO IM STILL A DIE HARD AMD FANBOY ALLLLL THE WAY!!!! I just wanted to try out something new to play with

Ive played with many amds.. But also talked trash on intel but at the same time ive never even owed one.. Well now that i own one its no diff. Im not going to lie this intel is very quick indeed. ALOT faster then i would of thought.. And i like the H/T. Thats what made me want one..

But im still AMD until the end
