Default Which PCB version have I got ?

Please allow for my virign status in the overclocking game and any obvious / stupid questions I may ask.

1) I have just upgraded my PC as per my signature. How important is it that I flash with the latest BIOS ?

2) How do I determine my "PCB Revision" as per the DFI website.

3) Any tips for a beginner, and I mean BEGINNER !!

I bought the DFI mobo after reading up a lot on the internet and read lots of good stuff about is OC potential. I'm sure I'll have some fun !!

Cheers

1) for a new user don't even worry about the BIOS and flashing it until you know if you need to or not. I didn't flash anything until I felt I'd gone from virgin to dirty slut

2) PCB rev. = board rev. somewhere on the motherboard , either printed on the PCB or on a sticker on the board it will say what rev it is.

3) download the newest drivers from www.nvidia.com for your 6800, get mobo drivers from www.DFI.com. For overclocking www.cpuid.com/cpuz it's straitforward, when your rig crashes just reboot and tone it down a few notches and you should be OK. google Coolbits for OC;ing the 6800 (cryptic nVidia OC util)
