I have finally managed to hit 3.6ghz on air cooling! wahooo

CPU-Z Validator Database

Cpu-Z Verified At Everything!
Just need to find a lower more stable voltage level.

I got 3.84 on my P4 on air, nothing that special, but it could go higher

Good job, always glad to see someone enthusiastic about overclocking. Here's the bad new though, I've taken my E6600 almost to 3.8 on air without too much effort. You got something to shoot for.

Sry to say, outta over 2000 entrys avg OC is 3879MHz

A little more work and you'll be avg. Post it up on HWbot, then figure out how to really push it.

What Heatsink are you using, alongside what fans?

My 92mm Noctua got me 2890MHz on a X2 Manchester, holding the WR still in PiFast. It also got me a 4th place in highest clocked sempron. These are fricken tiny CPU's compared to the power of a core duo, but i got my chances to play with a 4GHz air cooled(scythe mine) QX6800 ES.

Anyhow keep up the good work, we need more overclockers around here.

And I need new hardware.

Man i had to of got the crap of crap E6750s out there!!! Should of got a Q6600!!! Im only at 3.2 with 1.46V... Any less it craps with this asus mobo..

I still think the flaw lies in your mobo. I've got a E6750 in a Asus P5K Delx and it's running
at 3.6GHz with only 1.375 volts. And I've got a QX6850 that wouldn't OC at all in a Asus
Striker Extreme, just got a 780i mobo and I set it to run at 3.6GHz with 1.4v right off the bat
and it's purring away like that's right were it's suppose to run. And both systems are Air cooled
and I live in Florida.
