Could some one tell me y cpuz tell me that one core is running at 3407mhz with 17x multiplier and the other at 24o5mhz with a 15x??? I have a Intel Pentium d 945 processor

If I am not mistaken it looks like Intel's power saving feature is enabled; whats it called?; Speed step I think.

Yep, Speedstep. You probably could turn it of in the bios. It just lowers the muli at Idle to conserve power

You really don't even have to disable it, the CPU ramps up when needed.
