| Hey all. I am going to be ordering a CPU heatsink rather soon and was wondering if there are any major differences between the Thermaltake Big Typhoon VX and the original Big Typhoon. According to the reviews I have read, there isn't much of a difference. Since I will be replacing the stock fan with the Silverstone 120MM FM121 or the Panaflo, is it worth getting the VX? The original is cheaper in my area (about $12) so I was wondering which I should purchase. Thanks in advance (and please excuse my noobiness!) | ||

| The VX mounting system is super easy to use. Get the heatsink lined up on the processor, slide the bar into the guide on the heatsink, snap on side down, snap the other side down, flip the lever, and you're done. It took me longer to get a good even coat of Arctic Silver on my processor than it did to mount that behemoth. | ||
