| Apex Techie Lite | i was given this but with the mobo i have i was wondering what effects it would have on my memory temps. Arctic Cooling board Overclock.net - Overclocking.net - Photo Gallery - DFI Lanparty Venus, Motherboard No.800 if installed the hsf will be pushing the warm air over the ram. should i still risk it. | |

| :amused look: I just got myself one, and it is pretty decent (in that it's quiet, yet seems to perform as good better than the banshee that is the stock fan) on my 4600+ (ASRock 939SLI32) Your board's a bit unusual in its layout with the memory "behind" the CPU. You might be able to bend the lowest fins up so less exhaust air is directed at the RAM (although it might damage the heatpipes), but the whole point of the bent fins is so reasonably cool air is blowing across the hot-running mobo power circuitry. | ||
