Alright I have a Coolermaster Hyper6+ which I am itching to use.I own 2 socket 754 boards for a Athlon 64 3400+ build I am working on.Problem is the pattern of the retainer brackets require 4 holes I don`t have.Should I think about drilling these holes or what have you done in this situation.Any and all advise is welcomed!I would love to use this freaking Monster,Jo

If it needs 4 holes its either AM2 or 775, Do you mean drilling holes on the Mobo or mounting parts?

Rbmods.com
looking at the review it should beable to work on your boards

LOL..don't drill the motherboard!

Alot of coolers get by with bolting on the factory mounts, or will use a different backing plate and some special made brackes they include...did you buy this new, and have all the parts and instructions?

if you lost all that stuff, or got it used mising them, then your kinda hosed without em....you might find someone here with some spares.

You posibbly might have gotten the wrong model number for your board too.
