| Apex Techie II | I was looking at the cheap hs's at london drugs today, and one really caught my eye. Its by a company called speeze. Heres the link for the hs i was looking at: http://www.speeze.com/products/fcc.asp?ProdID=84 I was wondering what people thought of it. Right now im using the stock amd hs. The main reason for me wanting this hs is because of its 80 mm fan, and the fact that it runs very quiet (compared to my case fans) for the price. Its only 20 bucks canadian. Im assuming since it does have a copper slug, that it would also cool somewhat better then the stock hs. For someone who is mostly looking for a hs that is quiet in comparison to the stock amd hs, and that cools a bit better then stock, would people suggest this? | |

| i use the model that is just below that one same sink, no copper) and i have decent temps usually, but i will give it some serious props for being quiet, and so far i have had no issues with the fan either being unreliable or what not, i only aid $7 new for mine so im sure the one you are looking at will perform alot better...as fas as the barnd is concerned, i would buy Speeze again... | ||

| The one time I bought from SVC was a six to eight month horror story of e-mail hell, half my order got lost, I never did get the right parts, how do you fit a mid tower case in a 12" box that wieghs 3 lbs? It was on the packing slip, listed as if it was in there. I guess they "forgot" how large a case was and thought I wouldn't miss it. they DON'T have a phone number that connects to a person, just a recording giving out e-mail addys. worst company I've ever seen, buy from Xoxide, computer geeks, tiger-erect, compusa, ANYBODY but SVC. | ||

You realize that there are two SVC's now? One is the real SVC that everyone is happy with, and the other is a fake which is ****ing up the real SVC's reputation for quality service. As for a quiet fan, try a Panaflo M1A or H1A as both of these push a great deal of air for hovering around the magical 30 dBa range. | |||||||||||||||||||||
