| what does everyone think about thermo-electric cooling? its pretty hard to find reviews on them... i did find one on the MCX462+T and i showed a 1800+ oc'ed to 2060mhz at a 10C idle but about a 45C load after an hour of burning... with regular air cooling it could only reach about 1900 mhz. it sounds like a great alternative to water cooling if you dont have the money... 90 bucks! | ||

| If you are asking about condensation, you are in above your head. I've done pelt cooling and it is a bigger pain in the ass than water for damn sure. The real world numbers weren't too much different. If you really want to cool with a TEC, stay with this thread and the guys here (including myself) will give you the info you need. But you need to be willing to give up your CPU and mobo. Just like watercooling, one small mistake can cost everything. If you are getting by fine on air, stay with it. If you want to move to the next level, realize it may cost more than you think. | ||
