| Zalman is the latest to jump on the pro gamer wagon by giving Wendell his own branded heatsink. Basically its just the 7700 heatsink except with red LEDs on the fan....at least from what i gather. Oh and its also about 30 bux more expensive coming in at 79.95 You can see it @ http://www.svc.com/fs-c77.html | ||

| About 60-65 if you hit froogle. Everything costs more the first few weeks it's out. Paint, red LED and a stronger fan would account for a slightly higher price than the 7700. But the 9500 is running around the same price. I bet they sell a bunch of 'em though. | ||

...and the name too - the same thing happens with any product that is "endorsed" by a pro, it sucks (you pay more, and there's virtually no difference to the regular product) - but it's a clever idea (for the manufacturers) nonetheless, all the kids will fall all over themselves to get the same gear that their idols use. Zalman will be laughing all the way to the bank! I wonder if Fatal1ty will even use it in his rig though... I've been a sponsored skateboarder for about 10 years now - which is where i'm basing this rant on. Most of the pro's that I know don't even use the pro gear that they have their names plastered on - that's just the stuff that their sponsors put on the shelves to net them more money anyway... that's my rant ![]()

| there is the gpu version too. lol --i would take a arctic cooling HSF over it any day. ide rather get the 9500 for a little more with alot more performance. if your going to pay more than $60 for a HSF, you better make it worth it. Last edited by beachbum86; 28-September-05 at 05:26 PM.. | ||

Take an allready awesome cooler, and put a faster fan on it. Thats teh diffrence, alot faster(and louder fan) I would buy one. This cooler allready is the top dog, should kick even more ass with a faster fan.

| That's a case fan Greebler and one of the regulars already started a thread on that product. Anyway, welcome to PimpRig. Edit: I just found that the Thermaltake f 130mm fan can mount on 120mm holes, including Thermalright and Thermaltake heatsinks. +rep for Greebler.
