| Apex Techie Lite | Hi everyone.. I'm pretty new to this and I need some advice. I'm clever enough to get all my gear stuffed in a shiny new case, wire it all up and make it run.... but I'm not sure that I'm smart enough to figure out if my power supply is big enough to run all of my fancy fans and lights without burning out. Sooo, I'm wondering if someone can give me a littlwe info regarding formulas, or just some way to add all this up and figure out how much power I need to make all theese goodies run. Tahnks in advance for your help, and I hope I can be of some assistance to you all in the future. Thanks again.. | |

First of welcome to PimpRig Zmufflerman it is going to be a great one, and also my freind Thrasher2 should be around soon with his greeting to you and his helpful links for you to check out. Now to the issues of how big of a power supply you need I have my self a ultra x-connect 500watt with 10 lighted fans and 6 cclf tube lights and lighted fan screws not counting the power supply to which is lighted, and also my processor fan is also lighted with ram lighting to. And so far i have had no issues or power problems with it slowing down at all. Myself i would say any 500 watt or bigger depending how much money you would want to spend would work fine for you. But there will be other fello pimps or pimpets here that might beable to help you better then me, Just figure i try to help on your issue here is the link to what my cases looks like lighted up. All my cases have 500watt power supplies in them.http://gallery.pcapex.com/showgaller...00&ppuser=8505 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
