Info here - http://www.thermalright.com/ I bought it from here - http://heatsinkfactory.com/shop/Ther...-pr-16257.html Went thru a dozen links to find this one listed and in stock. | ||

| Wow, that heatsink seems to be on par with a koolance watercooling setup. Tell me what kind of clocks you hit with the new cooler. I might get one to replace my Zalman VF-700AlCu. | ||

| Apex Techie Wannabe | I also have a 9800xt and was going to purchase this along with the TweakMonster BGA RAMSinks. Did the TweakMonster RAMSinks fit with the v-1? What were your temperatures before, and what are they now? If you could reply back, it would be greatly appreciated. | |

| The heatsink has came in but not the Tornado fan I bought to go with it. I don't have a SLI setup to verify it's compatibility but the heat pipes can be bent easily so I don't see why not. Right now I have this HS mounted to a 9800XT. I had to remove the 2 center ramsinks on the GPU side of the board for it to fit. And I'm not very happy with the supplied mounting system. I've been really busy here lately but I'm gonna see what I can do to modify it, hopefully this weekend. I thought the temps would be a lot better but it could be from the mounting system and/or the small fan supplied 23 cfm. With a room temp of 75-78dF the card is reporting temps of 53-55dF at idle and 63-68dF under load. Plus my memory doesn't oc as well with the missing heatsinks. So I'm also gonna try to relocate the fins by bending the pipes (or seeing how far they'll actually bend). The unit does come with individual ramsinks but any ram located directly in front of the GPU won't be able to use them unless my bending is successful. And they don't even compare to tweakmonster ramsinks in terms of looks or quality. At the moment I not very happy this this Heatsink assembly and I would advise against buy it unless your sure of the compatibility and your no noob to modifications. I've already ordered a ZALMAN VF700-ALCU 2 Ball VGA COOLER that I'm gonna but on a FireGL T2 128 that's in my office. Depending on the performance of the Zalman and the success of my modifications with the V-1 I may just buy another Zalman for this 9800XT. | ||
