| i have athlon 64 3200 (winchester) that i bought with the heatsink included and it cools very well even oc'd. temps around 26 at idle and 37 underload. but i'm considering putting a spacer and some leds in with it and i was wondering if anyone has done this yet, basically i don't know the cfm of the stock cooler so i don't know if it's gonna help or hurt my temps. any advice/info would be greatly appreciated. | ||

| A spacer with a larger higher flowing fan will help out the stock HSF, and may allow just a bit more OC You know you can pick up a hybrid Alumin/Copper Zalman CPNS7000 with Blue LED's allready mounted that will realy wake it up for not to much $$ An adapter and decent LED fan will probably end up costing you around 15-20$, so it's something to consider if you are looking to get the most out of your money $31.99 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118118 | ||

I can't tell you the stock rating, but it's not alot...maybe 30CFM or so when running full blast. Since you have the adapter, go for it! Report back to us with a few screenshots of before and after temps ![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Another thing you might want to try is if your heatsink can fit it mount another fan or 2 on the sides to blow air through the fins i modded my stock amd athlon xp2500+ cooler with that and i saw a larger decrease in temps and i was able to take my fsb from 180 to 200 no problem. | ||
