Unhappy NV Silencer 5 problem

So I just received my new Arctic NV Silencer 5 for my 6800GT. Install went great, but when I powered up, I noticed it wasn't moving much air and it seemed it was trying to pull the air from the rear and push it out where the fan is... The blades of the fan are shaped so it only works one way, and I know for a fact ( courtesy http://www.arctic-cooling.com/vga2.php?idx=40 ) that it is supposed to exhaust the hot air out the back. I have posted a pic of what mine is doing. (please pardon hasty paint job) I bought this cooler off of ebay and I wonder if I got a fake somehow... I have actually tried reversing the pins on the fan connector, but the fan would not spin at all when I did that.. right now at idle, I am at 53/33 which is 3 degrees higher than it was with the old cooler... I am afraid to benchmark it because i am unsure how efficient this cooler can be if it is spinning the wrong direction

Any help is much appreciated...

Looks to me like the blades are pointing in the wrong direction.

Don't feel bad, wolf... I had the same "problem" with my NV5 and 6800GT. Turns out my NV5 wasn't making perfect contact with the mem chips, so the temps were going higher than with the stock cooler (which had little thermal pads, about 1/16" to 1/8" thick, between the mem chips and the bottom of the stock cooler). I took the NV5 off and went back to stock, until I got all my WC stuff together, then slapped a NV68 block on there from DangerDen.
