Default ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU question

http://www.svc.com/cnps7700-cu.html
Will this cooler fit an Asus P4P800 motherboard. I am in the process of replacing the heat sinks in my system so I kind of want to use this. I kind of want to know if anybody else used that heatsink on the P4P800, If not I will just probably go to the smaller version.

Thanks in advance.

you need at least 2 3/4 from center of cpu to power supply or you have to bend some fins a little.

It is not on Zalmans imcompatibility list so I'd say your good to go. The mobo I reviewed it on is on the list but I was still able to mount it, I just couldn't use an AGP video card.

EDIT: I just looked at your pic and you are going to have problems with the PSU and the shelf below it.

To answer the question fully, yes it will fit your motherboard, but not likely while it is inside your case.
With a different case it could work, one with more clearance between the top of the mobo and your PSU.

I agree. With more room above your mobo it should fit just fine. It should keep you nice and cool too.

So I should probably go with the smalled version of HSF. Is there a big difference in performance between the two?

EDIT:: From what I got at the Zalman site, it should fit the case but I don't know if I am willing to buy just to find iut it actuallyt doesn't.
