| I'm runnin' 18C on average at mid-power with a TT Dragon Orb 478. If I crank it all the way up, I can get down to 10C! Not too bad for air-cooling... but the damn thing sounds like a vacuum cleaner at that point. I keep it runnin' at about 18C... just 'cause it's nice and quiet. | ||

| Apex Advanced Techie | I used the fan from my Volcano 7 on the sk-7 because the cheap SVC fan makes this nasty high pitch noise. The TT fan has a heat sensor on it and before it always ran around 3500 rpms. Now with the sk-7 in there it runs at like 2900 to 3100 rpm. | |

| losernoOb | my 2.4A@2.8ghz (not 3.2, it was stable but i was getting windows prefetch errors on startup) runs 35c idle, 48c load using Swiftie MCX400 w/41CFM Globe Fan, and chipset with TT crystal orb runs 28c idle - 32c load, and my 9700 runs 40c idle -52c load. I think I might water cool later on, its just too expensive for me now ![]() | |
